Scottish Owner Training
Assistance Dog Orginisation.
Lets build the bond and the behaviour your dog deserves!
Welcome to Bond and Behave!
Bond and Behave is an owner-training assistance dog organisation
based in Scotland, supporting disabled people to train their own dogs
towards assistance dog standards.
Through in-person training, small group classes and ongoing
membership support, we help handlers develop the skills, behaviours and
public access foundations needed for life with an assistance dog.

Our Goal
Our goal is to provide an affordable, supportive and ethical pathway for people choosing to owner-train, helping dogs learn the practical skills that support greater independence and day-to-day living.
Our weekly training classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of four dogs per session, creating a calm learning environment where both handlers and dogs can receive individual guidance and support.
Based in East Lothian, we work with teams across East Lothian, Midlothian, Edinburgh, and parts of the Scottish Borders.
Supporting handlers to train confident, reliable assistance dogs through structured guidance and ongoing support.

We're proud to be part of the East Lothian community,
helping build connections between handlers, dog owners,
local businesses and like-minded professionals.
Because no one should have to train alone.
